A modified gear lever with a shortened throw distance and pivot point repositioned closer to the linkage base. Reduces shift time and improves shift feel without changing internal transmission geometry. JDM brands include B&M, TWM, and Cusco. Often paired with a heavier shift knob for additional positive engagement.
