Fitting a larger-diameter wheel while dropping tire aspect ratio to keep overall diameter close to stock. 'Plus one' means one inch up on the rim. It sharpens steering response and fills the arch, but shorter sidewalls ride harsher and expose the wheels to more pothole damage.
