Cat-Back Exhaust

The exhaust section from the catalytic converter back to the tip, covering mufflers, piping, and often a mid-resonator. It's the popular first exhaust mod because it stays emissions-legal (the cat remains), frees a little flow, drops weight, and changes tone without touching the tune.
