Anti-Lag System (ALS)

A tuning strategy that keeps a turbo spooled off-throttle by burning fuel in the exhaust, famous from Group A and rally cars for the bangs and flames. It slashes lag between corners but hammers the turbo and manifold with heat, so it's a race tool rather than a street feature.
