Hub-centric vs lug-centric wheels, which do I need?

Hub-centric is the setup you want. It seats the wheel's center bore on the hub, so the hub carries the load and the wheel runs true; the lug nuts just clamp it. Lug-centric wheels lean on the nuts alone to center the wheel, which invites vibration if anything is slightly off. Most aftermarket wheels have an oversized bore, so add hub-centric rings to match your hub diameter.
